TNA’s three hour Impact produced another title change as ODB got the three count on reigning champion Tara and took back the TNA Knockouts Championship. Some thought that perhaps Tara would have a long run, as she’s hasn’t been pushed as a champ but lo and behold, ODB is champion again.
The special three hour TNA Impact yielded new TNA Womens Wrestling champions as Hamada and Awesome Kong became the new Knockous champ when they defeated Saria and Taylor Wilde. The women’s wrestling matches were excellent, and showed the big contrast beween female and male talent in TNA.
This Monday there will be a special three hour showing of TNA Impact on Spike TV, starting at 8pm eastern. Of course the show is scheduled to directly compete with WWE’s Monday Night Raw so TNA is going to pull out some serious matches. Both the Knockout Championship, and the Knockouts Tag Team Championship belts will be up for grabs. Tara will take on ODB for the Knockout Championships while Sarita and Taylor Wilde will take on Awesome Kong and Hamada. It should be a really good set of bouts, and to compete with RAW it’s gonna have to be.
